Monotheism of the Prophet Yusuf

Allah Almighty said: “The woman in whose house he lived began to seduce him, locked the doors and said: ” Come to me. ” He said: “God forbid!” (Surah Yusuf, ayat 24).

It is narrated that when Zuleikha was left alone with Yusuf, peace be upon him, she got up and covered the face of her idol with a veil. Yusuf, peace be upon him, asked: “What’s the matter with you ?! Are you really ashamed of the gaze of an inanimate object and think that I will not be ashamed of the gaze of the Mighty Tsar ?! “
