Situation of rallies and demonstrations

Sheikh al-Albani said: “Some Islamic jama’ats do not stop making rallies and demonstrations, neglecting the fact that such things are from the customs of the unbelievers and their methods, which declare that the court belongs to the people! Thus (these jama’ats) contradict the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who said: “The best leadership is the leadership of Muhammad!
 “

Sa’id ibn Jubayr, Hasan al-Basri and Sufyan al-Thawri said: “Words will not be accepted except with deeds. And words and deeds will not be accepted except with the right intentions. And words, deeds and intentions will not be accepted except in accordance with the Sunnah.

Sheikh al-‘Uthaymeen (may the mercy of Allah be upon him) said: “Rallies – they are all evil, and it does not matter if their ruler allows them or not!
And permission for rallies by some rulers is nothing more than empty agitation.

For if you return to what is in his heart, you will find that he does not accept it in the strongest way.

However, he allows it, as they say, to say: He is democratic, he opened the doors of freedom for people, (etc.). Although this is not the path of our righteous predecessors”
