Righteous friends are rizq (destiny)

Abdurrahman As-Sa’di said :

“ Of the greatest favors of Allah towards the believing slave is the gift of support in the form of good friends.

And the biggest punishment for him is the test of a bad environment.

Righteous society leads the slave to the highest place in Paradise, and a bad environment leads to the lowest.

Righteous friends encourage the acquisition of useful knowledge, excellent morals and righteous deeds. A bad environment prevents all this.”
