On the dignity of non-arab muslims

According to Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), it is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once said: “I saw (in a dream) a large flock of black sheep, joined by a large flock of white sheep.” .

He was asked: “And how did you interpret this, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “Foreigners will profess your religion with you, and become related to you.” He was asked: “O Messenger of Allah, foreigners?!” He said: “Even if faith were near the Pleiades constellation, people from among foreigners would reach it. How happy they are!”
al-Hakim (4/395).
“as-Silsila as-sahiha” (1018).

Sheikhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said in relation to this hadith: “And the truthfulness of this was confirmed among the followers of the Companions and those who came after them.

This manifested itself in the children of freemen and slaves from among the Persians, such as al-Hasan (al-Basri), Ibn Sirin, ‘Ikrima – the freedman of Ibn ‘Abbas, and others. Among them were outstanding people in faith, religion and knowledge, so that they became surpass many Arabs.

Also in other nations from among foreigners, such as Ethiopians, Romans, Turks and others, it is impossible to count those who are ahead in their faith and religiosity, which is well known among scientists.”
“al-Iqtida” (1/145).
