Look, maybe you are unhappy because of this?

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

” Let him be in distress :

— SLAVE of the dinar and SLAVE of the dirham [slave of money]!
– SLAVE of khamis [expensive clothes],
[In one version of the hadith:] – SLAVE of katyfa [comfortable attire],

who remains satisfied if he is granted (this), AND IF NOT, THEN HE IS RESOLVED!

MAY HE BE UNHAPPY, and may the disease return to him [or may all his affairs be turned upside down], and may there not be someone who would remove the thorn from his body when he pricks!

Blessed be that servant with disheveled hair and feet covered with dust, who will hold on to the reins of his horse in the path of Allah, ..and he himself is so unassuming that if he asks, he is not allowed, but if he intercedes for someone, then his application is not accepted.

Bishr ibn al-Harith reported that Fudayl ibn ‘Iyad said to him: “O Bishr! The highest degree of contentment with Allah Almighty is to be one of the ascetics. I asked, “Oh, Abu ‘Ali! How to put it into practice? He gave me this answer: “So that your heart is in the same state when He gives you (something) and when He doesn’t . ”
