Three things related to death

Ad-Dakqaq said: “He who often remembers death will be endowed with three blessings:

(1) quick repentance,

(2) humble heart and

(3) diligent worship.

And the one who forgot about death will be punished by three things:

(1) delaying repentance,

(2) the dissatisfaction of his lot and

(3) lazy worship.”
