HUMAN SATISFACTION IS AN UNATTAINABLE THING

Imam ash-Shafi’i (رحمه الله) said:

“ People’s satisfaction is an unattainable thing! Therefore, follow what will benefit you, leaving everything that does not concern you. Indeed, to achieve the satisfaction of creatures is not established and not legalized, while the desire for the satisfaction of the Creator is an established and obligatory prescription .
