People’s positions are changing

Ibn ul-Jawzi said : “Know that the times (and the conditions of people) do not stand still! As Allah, He is Great and Glorious, said about this: “These days (happiness and misfortune) We alternate for people ». Surah Ali ‘Imran, verse 140.

▪️ Sometimes poverty and sometimes wealth. Sometimes greatness, sometimes humiliation. Sometimes the joy of friends (relatives), and sometimes the joy of enemies. Happy is he who, in all positions, holds on to one foundation, and this is God-fearing (taqwa).

▪️ If a person is rich, she (piety) will adorn him. If in poverty – endow with patience. If in well-being, grace will complement. If in trouble – will help to endure. Whether these are times of difficulty, or ease, or nakedness, or satiety, or hunger, nothing will harm a God-fearing person, since all these situations change and pass. But God-fearing is the immovable foundation of well-being. This is a guard who never sleeps.”
