Some reasons preventing the timely performance of the morning prayer

The first reason is not going to bed early.

A person sits until late, which is why he cannot get up on time for the morning prayer, because he did not get enough sleep.

It should be noted that this is a contradiction of the Sunnah, for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to bed after a night prayer, unless there was a need and benefit in not going to bed.

It is narrated in Sahih from Abu Barza that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not like to sleep before the night prayer and talk after it.
al-Bukhari 568; Muslim 647

The second reason is to eat a lot before bed.

About those who ate a lot before going to bed, the Salaf said: “They do not want to make a night stand.” As they said: “How many eaters were deprived of night prayers, and how many forbidden glances caused them to abandon reading a sura from the Koran!”
See al-Ghunya (2/155).

Wahb ibn Munabbih said: “There is no one from among the sons of Adam for the shaitan more beloved than a person who eats a lot and sleeps a lot.”
Ahmad in al-Zuhd (2187).

The third reason is sins.
Truly, sins tend to take over a person and fetter him.

Al-Hajjaj as-Sawwaf said: “Once Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) complained: “We cannot stand the voluntary night prayer,” to which he replied: “Your sins hinder you.”
Ibn Abi ad-Dunya in at-Tahajjud (222).

Once a man complained to al-Hasan al-Basri: “O Abu Sa’id! Indeed, I fall asleep in health, I want to get up for the night prayer, I prepare water for ablution, what is the reason that I cannot get up? To this, al-Hasan answered him: “Your sins have bound you!”
See al-Ghunya (2/155).

Al-Fudayl ibn Iyad said: “If you cannot stand prayers at night and fast during the day, then know that you are deprived of goodness, and your sins have bound you.”
See as-Siyar (8/435).

And if the righteous predecessors said the same about someone who could not get up to perform voluntary night prayers, despite the fact that in their time there were no alarm clocks, then what would they say about those who in our time cannot get up for morning prayer with the alarm clock on?
