About the Internet
Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Useymin said:
“ As for spending time on the Internet, it is known that there is both benefit and harm on the Internet, whoever wishes good in it finds it, it has Sharia knowledge, linguistic knowledge, industrial sciences and the like, but it also has exceptional evil, great evil; it dawned on me that the internet is even worse in danger than satellite channels.
Therefore, my advice to my brothers: to fear Allah with regard to the Internet or satellite channels and know that they were not created for this, but were created to worship Allah. And if they sink to a position similar to that of animals, indulging their desires and passions, then they will suffer damage both in this world and in the eternal world, we resort to Allah from this.
My brothers must protect their religion, their time and not waste their precious precious, precious life on it; By Allah, one minute is more precious than a thousand dirhams.
Do you know that when death overtakes a person, he will be told: “Will you give Us the whole world in exchange for a delay of one minute?” To which a person will certainly say: “Yes, I will.”
Therefore, Allah said: When death comes to one of them, he says: “Lord! Take me back. Perhaps I will begin to do the righteous deeds that I have given up. ” But no! These are just the words he utters. There will be a barrier behind them until the day they are resurrected . ” (Muminun 99-100)
I ask Allah for a blessed end for all of us! It came in a hadith: “A person does not die, except with a feeling of regret: if he did good, then he regrets that he did not increase his good deeds, if he was evil, then he regrets that he did not demand in my soul of repentance. “
Therefore, my brother, take care of your life, by Allah, it is dearer than gold and silver. After all, a person does not lose one dirham from his pocket, so how can he lose his life, which serves as the core of his happiness or unhappiness. O Allah, make us happy “
