Mention of the reign of Allah in supplication

Imam Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

“The greatest way to get an answer to a prayer is to persist in its ascension by repeatedly mentioning the Lordship of Allah. And whoever reflects on the prayers mentioned in the Quran will find that in most cases these prayers begin with an appeal to Allah by His name “ar-Rabb” (Lord) ”.
