The dignity of greeting

From ‘Abd ibn Abi Lubab, from Mujahid, who narrated from Ibn’ Abbas [what the Prophet ﷺ said]:

“If one Muslim meets his Muslim brother and takes his hand to say hello to him, then sins are showered between their fingers, like leaves crumble from trees in winter.”

‘Abda said, “And I said to Mujahid,” But this is easy. ” The Mujahid replied: “Do not say such things , indeed, Allah Almighty said in His book: ” If you had used up everything that is on earth, you would not have tied their hearts, but Allah tied their hearts “ [Surah al-Anfal” , ayah 63 “].

And I understood the dignity of his knowledge over other people.”
