?I heard al-Nu’man ibn Bashir say:

“(One day) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned to face the people and said three times:

“Line up the rows! By Allah, either you will align your ranks or Allah will discord your hearts!”

(An-Nu’man ibn Bashir) said: “And I saw how a man pressed his shoulder to the shoulder of his comrade who was standing next to him, his knee to his knee and his ankle to his ankle”. ?Sunan Abu Daud. Hadith 662
